sirus plug and play

Post by meathead333 »

anyone seen the sirus plug and play? its the satilite radio unit that can use in your car and/or in your home? i was thinkin about it. my deck already is made for sirus, but i figure if i am gonna pay for all of the harware and monthly service id like to use it in my home too. so i went to my audio store and asked some questions. i was almost sold on getting it. but....if i wanted to use the plug and play head unit, there would be like 3 wires or cords hanging off the dash. one to the power, one to the antenna and one to the sirus box. id compare the HU to the size of a radar dector. i dont really want all those cable cluttering up my dash. anyone know how hard it would be to drill a hole at the top of the dash and consolodate the cords there?? is there a way to hotwire the power source into the car? the salesman said he wasnt sure, but he thought itd be lots of cash, imagine that.....

stick it in the little cubby hole underneath the shifter. it would hide all the wires.

thats a good idea, but its to big for that. ok it might be larger than a radar detector. plus it looked pretty cool on the dash
