Matrix and Vibe Rear Wiper Motors Interchangeable?

When I first purchased Gambit, I knew I would have to fix something about the rear wiper. It did nothing and neither did the rear defrost. I thought maybe it was just a fuse, but I changed the fuse and it fried it again. So I looked for the short and it was in my wiper motor!! Not so bad, I thought. Probably like $50 to replace, right? WRONG. Everywhere I go they are from $120 to almost $200, AND no one knows for sure if they can even GET one for me. But! I could get one for the '03 Toyota Matrix for $50 and know that it is obtainable. Now my question is, are they interchangeable or can you easily make it work? Or is there another year that would work that I could look into getting? I really do hope so. Please let me know. Thank you!

Ch!!! Ch!!!!! They want $100 for used as is, no guarantee. And, as you know, the rear wiper motor is a wear and tear part. So I can't trust that. ._.

Really??? At Pick-n-Pull here I can get a the whole rear hatch w/ glass for $53..... granted, I have to take it off the car myself but still... A wiper motor by itself is $20... http://www.picknpull.com/part_...icingYou're being gouged!

Update: I was examining my wiper motor and it says TOYOTA on it. So stupid that I never noticed before. lol So they probably are interchangeable.
