About three weeks ago I purchased an '04 vibe, base model, auto trans, red (Salsa is the GM name for it), Graphite color interior, factory aluminum wheels, Power group value package (so says the window sticker which I also have), nothing special. It was a one owner, just under 50,000 mi and the owners were retired, older couple downsizing to one vehicle. Garaged all its life, it still looks and smells new, but there were still a number of small items to catch up on, so I've only driven it a few times, and the local GM dealers parts counter is getting to know me...... oil drain plug seal, roof rack trim cap and retainers, fog light to replace cracked one,,,,,,,, well you get the picture.Found this forum looking for info on how to remove the roof rack crossbars. I just today received my genuine GM printed maintenance manuals for it (I always obtain factory manuals for any car I own.). Also just got a set of Weather Tech floor mats and cargo area tray, and retired the carpet mats and roof rack bars to storage in the house.I live in a rural area south of Atlanta, and look forward to a good many years with the Vibe.Charles
Welcome to the forum!! and a GREAT color it is!!!!Enjoy the car, I like you also purchase factory manuals whenever possible. It's just comforting to know how to fix EVERYTHING!!!Dave
Welcome! This was one of my first purchases after getting the vibe. The GM manual probably is a bit better, but Haynes has always been enough for the stuff I'm willing to attempt.
Welcome. Another Salsa Vibe owner Can you tell I'm biased toward my red vehicles Sounds like you got a well cared for and maintained Vibe. Continue the great care and visit here often. We're a great bunch of Vibers
