Appeal for contest votes to benefit an elementary school PTA

Hi, all. A hometown news site is sponsoring a contest in which people vote for their favorite school (once per day) from now through October 28th, 2011.The winning school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA) receives $10,000.Normally I wouldn't post this, but our school, McKinley, has the highest percentage of reduced price lunch and English language learners (non-native speakers) in the district. In other words, we are the school 'on the other side of the tracks' and could use a few extra votes if you could help please.The PTA uses their funds to bring in cultural arts programs, to sponsor field trips, and to pay for activities that allow students to shine (e.g., family nights, a World's Fair, a holiday show, a talent show, etc.). http://www.thedailyfairfield.c...field The registration takes two minutes and you can opt out of e-mails from the site.
