No one seemed to care/claim any rights or royalties when I last asked mods about using the genvibe logo on things. I think as long as you get one of their sets of eyes on it/approval you should be good.CAMO, any updates on those vinyl decals? Just curious.
I agree.I already have more decals on my car than I thought I'd ever have But each of them are cool, so I guess I'll leav em for now...ESPECIALLY the UR decal on the headlight

The last batch of vinyls I had done FOR someone I had to go in and do the weeding and stuff myself, guess that's what I'ma have to do again. I think it'd be different with them if they had a larger, paid order, since they get swamped with the fair, school sports and bowling t-shirts about this time. I'm off after school Monday, I'll go in and see what I can do. I am anxiously waiting the result myself.
A quick search of the US Trademark database shows no registration for "genvibe" But since common law trademark/service mark rights are established by use that offers some protection to the owner", whoever that might be. Registration costs (trademark office fees and attorney fees) would run about $1,200, but it can be done on-line by an individual for probably $500 in fees. And GM being the (removed) retentive organization that it is just might oppose it but that would probably be a waste of money since this has been in use for almost 10 years. A trademark has to be something used on goods. A website could be a service mark.
