Heh, just realized that this bulb was out, so I hurried over to Pep Boys, and then to Autozone to pick one up.I was looking in the manual and it says to remove those two black clips. I think you are supposed to push the center button and then pull on the outer ring. (Of course, they don't show any pictures of this operation! ) I was curious to learn what tools any of you have used to remove those clips. Any ideas? Thanks!

I've taken that cover off a few times. You push in the center of the clips, and when time comes to put it back on, push the center back out of the clip. Pretty self-explanatory once you see it.
Ah ha, awesome - thanks! It really is a lot easier than I thought it was.Of course, now for some reason I can't remove the silver housing to access the bulb, even though I removed the bolst for the housing. It won't come off like it is glued or something. No mention of this in the manual - am I missing something?

Heh, I managed to change the bulb, but via another "creative way". Apparently the red cover is only held down by two hooks. It was easy to bend a tad, remove it, exchange bulbs, and replace it.I'm still bewildered by what must be holding the chrome bulb housing to the frame. It seems like there were two black pieces that the bolts screwed into...isn't there a thread here (complete with pictures! ) on removing the housing to replace everything with LEDs? I know I saw it somewhere...
