Happy Anniversary to my Vibe

Post by pmh013 »

I just realized I've been a Vibe owner exactly 1 year today.I've put about 59,800 km on my car in the last year. Most of this was reacked up during my daily commute, but we did take it out to Calgary - Edmonton - Calgary - Banff during the Christmas season.I bought the car through a dealer trade, so it had 460 km on the odo when I bough it, plus the dealer racked up over 1000 km on it (see below), which is why the odo hit 60,000 km on Thursday.Other than my little snafu with the catalytic converter (which is still being sorted out, if you can believe that), I'm really happy with the car.I would guess that a lot of 2003 owners will be coming up (or already surpassed) their one year anniversary, too!BTW, 60,000 km is about 36,000 miles, as a really rough conversion.

GM is still sorting through the paperwork on my warranty claim. They are still working on a "compensation package" for all the **** & abuse they put me through.

I am going on a tenting trip in August, and will definitely be taking the Vibe. Hmm, that reminds me, is there enough wattage on the console 115V to run a blender? Mmmm, slushy girly drinks!!

Congrats on the one year. Mine passed on May 25th (well, that was my anniversary with the Vibe anyway).

Thanks, but I don't think I need a new blender. My boyfriend has a plug-in transformer that's good for 400W (plugs into cig lighter). Our blender is 350W max, so all should be good.
