home made short ram

has anyone made a short ram or homemade instake??the techs at work fixed me up one and it works great, thanksto old honda parts lol, i love it its very loud and throttle responseis alot better??? anyone

how did you handle the pulse wave tuning? Surely the old honda that you scavenged the parts from did NOT have the same intake tuning as your engine? It may sound great (mostly because it's louder than the stock airbox), but it won't perform nearly was well as it could if you did the pulse wave tuning to make sure the intake is the proper length.Check this out --> Here

i did not install it but i know that it made a big diffrence in throttleresponse and power

Had one, but kept throwing CEL's up. The MAFS is the culprit to this working correctly, I feel. Very touchy little guy! These engines are just too smart for their own good! I now have an AEM. LOVE IT! Save up and get one that has been tried and tested, regardless of which one you choose.
