Tweeter Mounting

Post by MotoAce51 »

This is for anyone who has mounted aftermarket tweeters in the stock location. How did you mount the tweeters? I have everything hooked up and ready to go but I cant seem to get enough room for the larger tweeter. I tried to search but all I can find are mounting for tweeters in the non moon & tunes. I would like to use the stock location while utilizing the factory look. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My dad and I just used the bracket which it came with, and snapped off all the little tabs on the tweeter. The cover fit right back on perfectly.

When I did a friend of a friends Vibe, I removed the grill on the stock sail panel drilled out the hole for the new tweeter. I then used automotive grade hot glue to secure the tweeter from behind and re attached the stock grill. Snapped it all back together. The tweeters never came lose after 3 years of their ownership
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
