Love that Duesey! Cars will never be that cool again.
"Don't look to the government to solve your problems, the government is the problem." Ronald Reagan"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Ben Franklin.
As we walked through the exhibit, we all said the same thing. The craftsmanship of these cars was amazing! The materials and level of detail will not be seen again. Everything is so cookie cutter now-a-days.
Fun stuff! I am planning on going in two weeks, when there is supposed to be a Mopar club with add'l cars outside the museum.I would have selected the Hispano-Suiza if it were a convertible.Awesome cars as art.

Duesenberg SJ was made in the USA in Indiana. It is a very beautiful car. That is wrong with the car industry today, all the cars look the same, in the 20's to 60's cars were works of art. People were not afraid to try something new in the design area.

[QUOTE=Blanco_Diablo]I also took a picture of this car's interior - the only interior I took a picture of - the picture doesn't do the beauty of that leather interior sufficient justice. Just the perfect color of leather IMO.

It was a concept car created in Italy http://www.conceptcarz.com/veh....aspxIn the 1950's the Big Three(Chrysler, GM and Ford) created many one off concept cars. The 1950's was a very prosperous decade for the USA and Canada and cars got bigger and more outlandishly styled
