Finally got a new stereo -- 2009 vibe gt

Post by lowincash »

My volume button broke a long while back and was too lazy to bring it to dealer to replace. Finally bought a Kenwood head unit, the KDC-348U. It's pretty basic, just wanted to be able to play music from a flash drive and have other options too. Took a long time to get the audio adjustments right tho =/Here's a pic of what it looks likeActually had it installed yesterday but the shop I went to installed the wrong harness or something because whenever change from tuner to usb or aux, it'll have a LOUD BEEP. Also the volume was very loud too. On the lowest setting 1 it was way too loud for low. Today went back and they installed another part which made it sound a lot better now. Overall I'm pretty happy with it, I'll probably add the steering wheel control module thing later if I ever feel like I need it.

Upgrade it is indeed. Sound is so much better lol I'm just trying to decide if I should get the harness to make the steering wheel controls work again. I missed using it =/

I didn't I actually like the little JVC remote my deck came with better. It wasn't worth the cost for me.

I like how well the dash kit makes it look "stock" So many kits in the past I've seen make it very obvious that the radio didn't really belong there, or at least THAT radio.
