Vibe 2004 went to garage and the mechanics observe cracks in this plastic part (cicled in red)It would require replacing the whole front suspension arm sub-assy.1) Is immediate repair needed, or it can wait for several months?2) The following supplies this part: Mevotech, Raybestos, Dorman, Deeza and ACDELCO, which one is more durable?Thanks for your input

Is there movement in the control arm? Are the bolts tight? Rubber components degrade over time but so long as they're tight and inplace it shouldn't be too much of a concern. But if there's movement up/down or side to side I'd get it fixed. Check the other components on the control arm as well, you may want to have them replaced on both sides since the contol arm will be partially removes to do the work.
I don't feel the swaying when stopping that people talk about. Sometimes, it does rumble like train going through sleepers on track.
