Suggestions on how to dye fabric?

Upholstery, floor mats, seats, window tint and anything inside the vehicle and not electronic

Suggestions on how to dye fabric?

I'm wanting to dye my carpet black, possibly my headliner, and the fabric in my door panels.I know of Dupli-Color's Vinyl/Fabric Dye and also Rit Dye.Any other ideas/suggestions?

man how do you keep stealing these ideas right from my head all the way up here in Michigan?!! ive been thinking of this for a while, you better put up lots of pics when you get it done

I know a guy who did this and it worked great. Just bought the dye at an auto paint shop. Another thing you may like: He also bought some of the UV clear dye and painted flames on his headliner. At night you flip on the black lights and the flames show up. Looked wicked...

Thanks for the idea of the UV dye. I may do that eventually.And yeah, the duplicolor guys on youtube give GREAT, directions and show how they do it

SEM also makes dye. only available at auto body supply stores and will probably cost more then the Duplicolor, but it is another option.
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
