2003 Base Vibe.... is the carpet one piece?

Post by A Psycho Martyr »

I'm about to pull my carpet from the interior and dye it black to go with my (soon to be) black-and-whiteleather seats. I was wondering if the carpet is one piece, or two pieces.Anyone had it out and willing to lemme know? Also any tips in removing it would be awesome.

Yes, the carpet is one piece. You need to remove all the seats, trim around the doors, and even some of the lower dash in the center to get it out.

I've taken mine out a few times and it looks just the same when you put it back.

Side note depending on your speed you would be looking 2-3 hr for removal.
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
