I think the process is set up to start with the oldest first.....that is, they began the actual recall with the 'O5's and are working their way up. The reasoning behind it is that the number of replacement parts is limited. They did not want to send out all the letters at once, and then have a backup of owners waiting for parts. Remember, this recall also involves the Matrix, and maybe even the Corolla.Ken

You wouldn't happen to have a source for something more official?My 2007 is throwing a P0037 and I traced it back to a faulty PCM. My PCM is one of the ones that listed as "needs to be replaced" by the PDF posted in the Recall Letter thread, but my VIN doesn't show up in the system as valid for the recall...I tried calling the GM customer service number, but as you might expect, that got me nowhere. If I knew that the second recall letter would show up eventually, I'd have the PCM replaced by the dealer and get the money refunded once I got the second recall letter. If I'm not going to get the second letter, I'll pick up a used PCM and install it myself.Bob
