help with A/C problem

I have a question.. Friday I had been driving around that day and come back home cut my car and my A/C off.. I always cut my A/C or heater off before i get out of car... well i get back in car and go to turn my A/C on and low, med, it would not come on but on runs on high.. any suggestions as to what might be wrong... thanks... Lorie

I'm not sure what it's called but it controls the speed of the blower for the heat or AC (blower control?) It's not hard or expensive repair. Here's a link http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=36099 You just need to change the resistor. About $40 at local parts store

Sounds like a blower motor resistor problem. Here is a link to how to do the repair. About an hour job at the most (I've done the blower motor several times, but not the resistor), the hardest part is contorting yourself to get into position to do the repair.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=36099Link to the part at Advance Auto Parts (other places have it as well online and probably locally):http://shop.advanceautoparts.c...S____Note that the part is different than the blower motor resistor in the Toyota Matrix.
