Clutch install help 2004 5spd

I have gotten all the mounts free I think, except the back one (towards the firewall). I used a guide a member posted on here long ago, and it's worked so far, but it's pretty vague on most parts (like removing the mounts). I am also using the toyota matrix shop manual online, but I am really having trouble with the firewall side mount. It has a stud going through it to the bottom of the car that goes through the center crossmember (the metal piece in the center of the engine bay, on the bottom running from the front bumper to the cabin).I need that cross-member to come out, and the mount (I think) but can't figure out how to get the mount out of the cross-member to get it down. Basically its all detached but the stud from the rear engine mount goes through it and It won't come off the rest of the way. The engine mount is innaccessable (it seems) unless the brace is off. Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. I'm like 3/4 of the way done to getting the tranny out. Everything else is disconnected except for the mount on the driver side fender which I will do last, since it is easily accessible.
