Hi, hopefully this is in the right place:I bought an '05 Vibe recently and the day after I bought it, the CEL came on. So I took it back to the dealership and they replaced the aftermarket cold air intake that was in it with a standard one and left the aftermarket one in the trunk for me. Not being much of a tuning enthusiast, and hoping to cut back on CEL's, I want to sell it. Trouble is that it doesn't have a logo or any other markings on it to clue me in on what brand it is. Was hoping someone here might recognize it or point me in the right direction. All I have is that the MAF sensor is a Toyota 22204-00030 B TN197400-2120, and these pictures (excuse the horrific MS Paint-job).Also, where would you recommend selling it? On this site or Ebay? Thanks in advance.
cosmo, the 05-08 intakes were two piece's.http://www.cosmoracing.com/pro...=1118remove that plastic insert in the filter. Also Remove the MAF sensor that is still in that CAI... that is worth more than anything. Those will run 250 bucks alone. So unless the dealer gave you a new MAF sensor or the photo was taken just before it was remove and added to the new intake then I would deff remove it.Used CAI go for about 80bucksYou may still get CEL's even with the new CAI.IF you really want to help prevent it switch to a Short ram intake

I have some issues with the posts1. most dealers will rape you, and tell you you need xyz part when you really don't2. did the dealer tell you, you needed a new MAF sensor for the new factory intake? If so what did they charge you for it?ignore my last statement in my previous post. I was under the impression that the dealer installed a different CAI... but I read your post one more time and now I'm under the impression they installed the factory intake.

Also I don't think the Cosmo is worth $250 maybe with the MAF sensor. Does the CAI have another port between the MAF and throttle connection?

Hey, thanks for your replies. Awesome for identifying it.What happened with replacing the CAI and MAF was that I bought the car and the Toyota dealership had scheduled to replace the CAI and MAF that was in it with factory parts, but had sold it to me first and let me drive off the lot without doing the work. I guess they didn't want to sell it with aftermarket parts. Then the CEL came on and I brought it back a few days later where they replaced the CAI and MAF without charging me anything for it.Are the plastic inserts meant to be removed when installed? Or doesn't it matter?
If your are going to sell it, keep it together (the CAI that is). Take the MAF off and keep the screws! I'm not sure what a used OEM MAF goes for but a new aftermarket is about $80

Any ideas where I could sell the CAI and MAF? I see you need 40 posts here, and the ones on Ebay don't really sell a lot of the time. Should I try a local used auto parts store? I'm not trying to break the bank here, just want to get something for them. Any ideas?
