Suspension noobie question

Post by Gekko »

Noobie here around these cars. I have an 03 Vibe. Will a set of lowering springs from a 2005 toyota corolla fit on my 03 vibe?

yeah I would try to check which brand springs the corolla has and then look at some charts from that manufacturer to see if the part number matches the 03 vibe. I just checked the TRD springs and theres different p/n's for 03 corolla and matrix/vibe. That was just TRD though maybe theres other aftermarket springs can be used on both?

They will fit but the money you will spend in replacement struts would kill you in the end. You could probably in the end cause damage to where the strut mounts over time if using the rolla springs. The only benefit would be the ability to have a lower stance. However the cons outweigh the pros by a mile. Your car could become very unpredictable.
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
