Locked inside my car - strange issue

Has this ever happened to anyone else? A couple times since I bought the car a year ago I have pulled into a parking lot and turned my Vibe completely off. I'm sitting in the driver's seat getting my stuff together to exit the vehicle when all the doors suddenly lock around me. From inside the vehicle when this happens neither the button on the door for the automatic door locks nor my key fob will work. The only way to get out is to slide over the manual lock. Any ideas on what the issue could be? Has only happened a few times but sitting there in silence and hearing all the doors lock around me and the lock button going dead is a little scary. I have an '07 & it is an automatic.

I had this issue with my trix. I'd say there's a dealer installed security system that is having. This is a function of the valet mode I beleive. It can be disabled matter of fact I removed my totally while doing performance mods. It can easily done by removing the alarm module.
