I need to replace the stock tires on my vibe. I was going to get larger tires (for ride comfort and they are less $$ for some some reason) for my vibe in size 215/60/16. I have stock steel wheels. I was told by discount tire here in Minneapolis that that size would almost definitely contact the suspension / wheel well components while turning and I should get different size. Even 205/60/16 he said would likely contact the car.Is this true? Has anyone had experience with this. It seems to me there is plenty of room in the wheel well.Thank you!
Thats what I thought. He went on and on about how he has been doing this for 10 years and he knows what he is talking about. Funny thing is that the standard vibe size tires were $10/ea more! I think he was trying to screw me into a higher priced tire.ALSO,What tires do you recommend? I was thinking the Hankook Optimo H727 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...1=yes
