If they are turned all the way down you will get no sound. You should turn the volume to 3/4 of max and then adjust the gains on each speaker until you get distortion then back off a 1/4 turn.

i had the radio around half, then turned the levels on the schoche til sound came out, but no sound ever came except the subs. they have a preamp out on the back.

Make sure they match up on both sides of the scosche.

they all match up. there is a pink wire that is supposed to be grounded to the parking brake so you cant watch a dvd while driving but i doubt that will have anything to do with audio.
i saw this thread and saw audiovibe mention an amplifier turn on cable. the harness adapter has the cable but the aftermarket radio does not. it has 2 sets of rca's coming out for front and rear line out to go to an external power amp.
RTO or Remote Turn On is usually blue in most harnesses and Blue with white stripe is power antennaIt sounds like you aren't turning on the LOC or the factory amp one, or both... Are you using the LOc because of the factory amp? because I would bypass that and use the HU for the front/rear speakers myself.. (I can't believe I just said that, but yea, I did)
yep, most RTO's are .25a and 12v.. IT basically needs to see 12v and your set... So, first impressions?(BTW I mixed up Blue and Blue w/white... the RTO is blue w/white..
confusing right now... comes with a remote like a dvd player. sounds good though. i have to figure out how to get it to recognize the subs tomorrow. right now they're hooked up to the line out from the rear speakers. it has 2 rca sets coming out of the harness for front and rear line out. 2 usb ports, SD card reader, bluetooth, dvd, backup camera, a whole bunch of stuff
Not sure what you are doing man... Jensen says that unit has a SUB out, so it's got RCA's for subs alone... Quote » * Front panel USB and Aux-in * 3.5" TFT * DVD/WMA/MP3 * Steering Wheel Interface (PAC-SWI sold separate) * Rear Camera Input * Front, Rear and Sub RCA Line out * Remote Control Included * 3.5mm A/V Cable Includedhttp://mobile.jensen.com/Jense...M8514
yes, it has a mono sub out rca, but it isn't recognizing the subs. what it says is once subs are hooked up, then turn the rotory encodor to set the LPF (low pass frequency) but when i plug it up, nothing happens. and there's nothing in the manual about it other than that.
If I could look at the manual I could figure it out, I even tied at Jensen, but they are retarded somehow... IF you can somehow show me the manual, I could figure it out... Sometimes there is a menu selection for setting the rear/sub output.. sometimes rears can bet set up for sub duty... Gonna require some "fiddlin"... lol..
