Interior lights

Hello everyoneI have purchased a very clean 2005 AWD for my wife that she just loves.My question. There are 3 interior lights that illuminate the interior when a door is opened or whatever. One pretty much over the driver and front passenger's shoulders, one for the back seat passengers and one over the back cargo area.When a door is opened, the back two lights come on, but the front does not. I have checked all I can find in the owner's manual and can find that, that front light is a "reading" light and does come on when the roof mounted switch is activated, but can't find if it should be on with the others when a door is opened.Should that front light be activated when a door is opened. I sure would think so.Thanks for any help offered.

My 04 dose not light up the front reading light when i open the doors. Just the middle and the far back one light up. I just switched my lights to LED lights. Only reason i would know. welcome to the site btw

Thank you. I guess we live without that front interior light coming on when a door is opened.
