Alignment issue...

Post by ragingfish »

So I took my Vibe in for numerous service issues today...one of them being trouble keeping the car straight and on track.Turns out my alignment is messed up. But they couldn't fix it for me, because I needed the car back tonight, because I go to Boston tomorrow.Apparantly, when I had hit a curb several weeks ago, I killed a tire (had to have that replaced) and screwed up the alignment. Royally. They said I can drive on it, but I have to have it fixed when I get back from Boston, and it takes a minimum of half a day. They said it could just be an adjustment -- or I might have bent something, whcih translates to big $$$ in repairs. Oh, the joys of car ownership.

I misjudged a turn in a parking lot...ran into one of the "islands" with a tree on it...didn't feel like a big deal...but as i said, it killed a tire (apparantly it was on the brink of blowing a hole) and screwed my alignment...I remember when I was leaving work one night I hit it, but I didn't think anything of it. LOL!
