Probably the fastest car you've ever seen in your life, I'd like to show off "Roxy" my 1998 Honda Civic EX. One day all these bolt-ons will break 200hp and then I can race real (economy) cars. The tach was on the dash when I bought it. It is redundant, and silly looking. But I'm afraid to pull it because old owner drilled holes in the dash for it (genious)Lots of Skunk2 and MSD otherwise.Other notes are that I need updated pics. Obviously I popped all the wheels off when I got it, and resurfaced them in red and actually clearcoated them. They are holding up extremely well and still shiny, 3 months after. The trunk has been redone as per my standards, the amp and sub I have built right into the floor via fiberglass and MDF. I replaced that steering wheel with a similar all black one, new Kenwood radio (not that piece of crap in the pic) and recovered some of the interior pieces in carbon fiber. Also the Ipod is now hard-wired in the center console as well as other things, including newer paint on a lot of the bolt-ons, and replaced most of the MSD ignition components with newer ones, and had the ECU retuned and then bolted it back up under the dash.

The center console I used actual carbon fiber with no resin and just stretched it onto a piece of black cloth adn wrapped it around. The arm rests and some other small pieces are a carbon fiber weaved fabric. So it looks like carbon fiber, but it is actually just black and gray lengths of threads woven to look like it.

Very nice!!! Question: Is the hood CF or is it just painted that way?IMO get rid of that 2nd tach... a few holes in the dash are much better then that godawful thing...And more pics!!!
I'm not just worried about the holes as the wires in the dash. There are several wires cut right at the tach, and a quick pull off of the dashboard had me put it right back on when I saw 100's of wires taht went everywhere, and some that went nowhere. That was a 2 day project. I'm worried the tach (like the ignition) is somehow in-line with the radio fuse (stupid) like so many other things I've found. The hood is actually carbon fiber. I also had a fiberglass lower half made so that I didn't need hood pins. It was like a $400 hood at the end of it. not too bad. Problem is, it's so light that the wind picks it up a tiny bit so the hood trembles when driving at freeway speeds. I'm sure the hood catching all that is also taking a toll on my mileage.
