Made a fourth brake light out of the pontiac emblem on the hatch. Did not turn out perfect. The red lens is not just a a red lens glued to the chrome emblem. It has a reflective coating on the back that does not let light through. Had to sand that off which changed the look of the lens. I will order another emblem sand the coating off and paint it with a red candy paint, that should do the trick. Anyway it is working and from more than 10 feet away you can not tell the lens is not perfect.

This is the first brake light i have added. After debadging, the red lens just looked like a brake light. Have been doing things like this since my first honda civic in (what for it!) 1978. Had a 2003 celica gts that i got really creative with. Cold air intake, catback exhaust. Added gauges on the A pillar, back up camera with dvd molded in the dash, shift light, painted all the trim in the interior, cd player with huge amp and two 12" subs mounted in a custom box behind the back seat. led lights in the air vents. Had a custom front license plate that said " definately not a midlife crisis". It was a lot of fun.

Damn ... You just gave me another brilliant idea for my 09 hatch (as if I haven't done enough already) I just need the time to make it reality . It's nice to see others dabble in the LED modification category.. VERY nice job
