Did you need a torque wrench to re-secure the strut towers? I would think so since that is like half your suspension system or something, isn't it?I'd like to get a strut bar, but don't have access to an AutoZone where I can borrow tool such as a torque wrench, so I want to be sure I can do it myself at home before I bother spending the money...

You probly should but I don't have one. But I'm obsessive about keeping the engine bay clean and I check the nut's every week. No prob's so far.Do all Autozones let you barrow tool's? There's a bunch in my area and I'd like to do that.

quote:Socket Wrench CHECK! Yank, you should have no problems with it. Just don't smash your knuckles when those bolts finally break loose. It's a really tight space up there. It took me about 20 minutes to put mine in. Make sure you test drive it one last time before you install, then test it on the same curvy road right after. It's fun.

It's fun.The Crooks RD Exit going north on I-75. it's about a 40 degree curve and I always zip around it doing about 50mph. I've done it alot so when I upgrade I should be able to tell the difference

take the clover leaf exits at Big beaver... if you hit the lights correctly, you can rip thru all 4 loops really fast. Man that is fun. There is a sweet clover leaf exit on 23 near Ann Arbor that I've taken some turns on.
