Oil Leak

Post by dmitri »

Well, I was backing up on my driveway today and noticed oil all over. It wasn't a lot, but a good enough amount to be worried about. I drive my vibe GT pretty hard and im wondering if this could have caused it? I'm pissed off because its new, only 2 months Anyone else have problems like this?

Could be any number of things -- cross-threaded drain plug or filter, loose plug or filter, or something more serious, like a oil line issue...Agree with silver -- dealer should be the first stop you make this week.

The dealer will fix this for you. I don't blame you for being pissed off. I would be too. Let us know what you find out.

Definitely go to dealer, do not pass go... go directly to dealer. It may be overkill but you do not want oil starvation to the top end for any reason. Safe rather than sorry. Let us know what's up fer sure.
