Grille Options 05-08's

Just need some input on grille options for the 05-08 front end. It seems the only option is the billet grilles on ebay, but damn they are expensive. You have to pay about 200 dollars shipped for just the grille & another 100 for the lower parts. IMO Way too much money. Are there any other grilles that I'm missing? I saw threads from 05' about "Mr Grille" but the links are all dead to the website, so i'm guessing they went OOB.I might just take the plastic honeycomb crap off & spray it black. The grayish faded look isn't doing it for me, but black might look better. Anyone done this?

Anyone done this? yup -- quite of few 05-08 owners have done this. You can see a painted black grille in my garage. There's also a couple users who had "chrome" strips installed on the bottom grilles -- can't remember the names

Yea i think i'll just do that. Looking into it further, you have to zip tie these "custom" grilles to your existing grill. That would look ghetto IMO. You have any problems with chipping on your painted grille? Any prepwork? I couldn't imagine trying to sand all the honeycombs beforehand, but I might primer it with a dark-gray or black primer beforehand.Also, NICE CAR! I like the projectors! I'm guessing you custom-fit them into the stock housings?
