Just curious as to why, we have a locking gas flap. A locking anything only keeps the honest from straying off the straight and narrow. For anyone intent on stealing, a lock is only a minor aggravation.Dave

1 large flathead screwdriver can easily pull a locking gas cap off.... found that out the hard way years ago...Quote, originally posted by djkeev » A locking anything only keeps the honest from straying off the straight and narrow. The "locking" cover that has to be released from the inside is enough security for me.
