did you read the part where he said..."big plus on looks for car shows"We realize the four point doesn't do too much as opposed to triangulation, but it looks nice which will give him points in a show.

Its a good design. It's still going to be better than stock.

I like it, and would love to have their lower bar.

I read through that thread. Waveresponder doesn't deserve to be in there.. There are some TERRIBLE rides on that thread. I can't believe how badly some people mess up cars.

Personally, I think this bar design makes it much more dangerous when the car is involved in a front impact. Most likely, the two bars alongside the car will be pushed toward the firewall and penetrate the firewall.

Quote, originally posted by northvibe »why is a 4 point design crap?Looks like some MOD editing already happened... THAT 4pt design won't work for much beyond a normal strut bar because the mounding points of the bar have no triangulation, right angles and parallel lines don't do anything for stiffness.. if the forward "struts" of the bar were connected closer to the struts themselves.. it would provide more of a stiffness adding device.. While it may hold the rad support nicely, that also doesn't do anything in terms of handling either.. Replacing the bushings in the lower control arms with poly would do FAR more than even the strut bar.. BUT, for what's available.. it looks great..

In my opinion its designed more for looks as the bottom two connecting points are thinner in construction being connected to the weak rad support, in a collision i would think that it would react similiar to a 2 point bar but obviously im not certain, just remember installing it, most people that have commented on it seem to be jealous at shows cuz they either have no bar or cant afford one at the time.but in response to anyone sayn it will not provide any or little difference in handling...until you drive THIS car with THIS bar im treating all the comments as opinions but it you still wish to comment on your far superior knowledge on triangulation go right ahead no offense LOL as someone who has driven the car with THIS bar and THIS car...its makes a huge difference in handlingthe only way we could find out is i drive head on into something which i dont intend on doing for another 5-7 years at the least lol how much you a think a custom sticker that says triangulation is a myth BRACED would cost just to see people squirm more?

Do us a favor, buy a "normal" Ebay strut bar for 35$ and swap them.. if you notice a HUGE difference between the 2 bars, I'll print this and EAT it.. (after driving the car with both myself ovcourse.. )
