My Neglected Mountain Bike

Post by BlueVibe09 »

Well I went out to the garage to check out my mountain bike which I haven't had time to ride since the begining of last summer. That's when I realilzed it wasn't in my garage but instead left in the back yard at a friend's over the summer and winter.... Needless to say I have quite a project ahead of me!

Your friend left a bike outside his place for amost an entire year? I'd hate to see what the rest of his backyard looks like. I just spent another 7 hours on my lawn yesterday edging after years of neglect from the previous owner. It looks AWESOME NOW!

That looks like when I had my bike in college and had to leave it outside for a year! It cost enough to retune and fix it that I probably could have just bought a new bike.

Aww poor bike. That is ok though you can take it all apart and clean it very well. Bikes are my life I see a broken bike I do what I can to revive them

I'm glad you live in an area where you could leave it out all summer and winter and it's still there.

Of course the 2 'project' golf carts it was lying next to aren't too pretty. At least they're not in the front lawn Quote, originally posted by midnighthunder89 » Aww poor bike.
