Pennsylvania Potholes Suck!

Post by morbay »

Hit a pothole a week or so ago and at the time figured it was flat immediately. Checked it out and it looked fine, slight rim damage. I happened to glance at it yesterday and saw this:...another expense I don't need.

Are you still driving on that tire? I'd be installing the spare and letting some air out of that one. It looks like a time bomb that doesn't have many "ticks" left...Hope the rim's not too bad! Keep us posted!John

I feel for ya!Lived in NYC until I turned 27 & we had potholes that would suck your car in. Once I came back with a buddy from the shop ( in his car ) just had a alignment, hit a pothole & right back to the shop it had to go LOL !!!

First off, you forgot to mention the expansion joins on the concrete highways there too.Second, that pothole did you a favor. Anything to get rid of those OE Bad~Year's has got to be good.

That may give you balance problems It is beyond potholes here in WV with all the snow we had. One street in town had about 20% of the roadbed peeled off like a onion, from either a wet resurface job or a the work of plowing subcontractors.....it was like a drive through downtown Beiruit. Sitting here thinking if I had gotten those 18" wheels on the GT.....

I was in NYC before moving to DC and the potholes around there were the worst I have ever seen, sep for a 'major' city.
A fantastic solution to a problem that need not exist!
