washer nozzle engine felt???

Post by fss106 »

there's some type of felt heat shield under my '03 vibe hood. its held in place by a bunch of plastic caps i need to take it off in order to replace a washer nozzle that was lost this winter--- whats the best way to do it without completely tearing it apart-- i started to pry on the plastic caps but didn't want to break them off, and they don't look like they unscrew-- any help??? thanks

I bet you need to get new ones, then just break off the old ones and reinstall using the new.

Kincaid is right. They'll probably break when you pull them off. Just order new ones. By the way, welcome to the site. Take pictures of the fix as you do it if you get a chance so we can see how it goes! How's Aspen these days?
