Just ordered a set of injectors for my vibe GT. 440cc injectors. My question is how good is the stock ecu fuel trim? I ordered a fuel management computer, that didn't work and have to send it back now. Do you know is the stock ecu capable of a 50% long term fuel trim(LTFT) without throwing a code? Figure 300cc injectors stock to 440cc injectors is a 50% increase, but the o2 sensor should be able to tell i'm running rich and trim back the fuel. Or should I pull the 440cc injectors and put the 300cc back in until I get a new ecu? The only extra source of air I have is a CAI. Planning to turbo in the future. BTW great budget mod, buy used wrx (not sti, sti has side feed) 440cc injectors and nippon denso pigtails(different injector connectors so need to wire in different connector). RC eng 440cc injectors cost about 300 bucks. Used wrx injectors cost about 50-100 bucks and are readily available because wrx owners upgrade they're injectors to bigger ones fairly commonly. The pigtails about 30. so injectors that can handle at minimum 230-250hp for only 80-130$. upgrading injectors is also much cheaper and easier than converting to a return type fuel system so you can increase fuel pressure.

I would look at investing in the air fuel gauge and the egt gauge before you start modding to heavily..these are two of the most important in my mind and it is vital to the life of your engine to have these under strict supervision.
