P2401 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit Low
Hello Everyone. i have a 2005 vibe and was told by the dealer about this error code showing up. in their notes it reads "found code 2401 vacuum pump circuit. checked voltage at pump and is good. test pump. pump turns on but does not supply vacuum. estimated price on pump 686.18."i decided to find this pump myself and change it, however i can not figure out what pump they are talking about. there does not appear to be an air/vacuum pump that i can see. any help would be appreciated!

Code - P2401 Description - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit Low Said pump is behind the fuel tank. The code's telling you that the pump is unable to maintain a vacuum in the tank. Check your gas cap and cap gasket to see if it seals well, and check the pump hose connections and lines on the fuel pump to see if any hoses are loose or broken. You can access the fuel pump itself by pulling up the back seat.
