Loss in Power and Bad Gas Mileage

I hae a 2004 Vibe and recently I have been dealing with the check engine light coming on. My husband bought one of those computer readers and it came back saying there was a problem with the exhaust. He changed the rear catalytic converter. Cleared the codes and the light came back on after a bit. He then changed the front oxygen sensor. Light came on again. He then changed the rear oxygen sensor. The light has not come back on since then but I am only getting 24 MPG with 50-75% highway driving and I have lost power. I am out of ideas. Can anybody help me?

Intake Manifold gasket. There is a TSB on this. Go to Toyota and ask them for an Intake manifold gasket that is on a TSB for a 2004 Matrix 1.8l 1zz. I have been fighting this issue for quite some time.
