GenVibe Stickers - YOUR advice! :)

Post by ponta2147 »

As a graphic designer, I'm supposed to be good at this color and layout thing, but for some reason I can't come up with a good plan...I want to order some GenVibe stickers for my car (I think they come in sets of 2?)... but which color, and where the heck should I put it that would look good with my car? All of my ideas just seemed lame to me. I loved someone else who put it on the roof racks, but I don't have those. So... any sweet ideas for a good place to put it on the '09s?

Yes, they do come in pairs.I say metallic silver. It goes well with any color.I got mine in metallic silver and I put them here:Mine:My mom's:For some reason this just seemed like the most logical place to put them to me . For your red, I might order the silver metallic. Besides, the red may not match the car color exactly. Then where would you be?That's a good point. I vote for metallic silver .

Link, please? I don't see them anywhere.I did surprise my wife w/a white GenVibe T-shirt on Valentine's day and to my amazement, she actually likes it!! Wears it regularly. And BTW: Coordinating is nice, but I like contrast myself. For your red, I might order the silver metallic. Besides, the red may not match the car color exactly. Then where would you be?

Hey thanks, those pictures give a really good sense of scale too which will help. I like that positioning, I already have another sticker on the left side so that will be good. And I was thinking metallic silver but wasn't sure if that would be lame. Glad to hear it confirmed by a few people!

Glad to hear it confirmed by a few people! You're welcome! Like I said, I don't know how to describe it but that just seemed like the "right" place to put them. I am very happy that I put them there. I think they look great.Size wise they are approximately 8" long and 1" high. It's a nice size sticker in my opinion, not so huge that it looks tacky or anything, but enough to represent .The metallic silver looks really good on my mom's Vibe. I definitely think metallic silver would be the way to go for you. In another week you'll be able to see mine in person !On a bit of a side note, our stickers have been on for almost a year now and they are still in perfect condition. Grafx Werks' customer service is great. I got the stickers within a week of ordering them. Definitely a great place to do business with .Be sure to post pictures whenever you get them on!

Of course I'll post pictures!I think the second sticker will fit perfectly on the new black license plate holder I got to replace the front dealership one. If I get them before the meet I'll try to put them on.

Ok, here are pics of my latest "mod"... good call on the silver.Adding it to a blank front license plate holder: Rear window, good suggestion: It was a great day out, so in anticipation of the Schaumburg meet (hopefully, if the weather holds out) my husband and I cleaned our cars. No attachment for a hose at our place, unfortunately, so we had to take them out for a wash, but we came back and cleaned, scrubbed and vacuumed everything. Husband did a quick wax to his car as well. Noticed lots of paint chips on my car... sad day... will have to buy some touchup stuff at some point. But I am so happy to scrub the winter crud out of all the crevices! Pics of the Pontiacs:

Copy cat ! They both look great! We will definitely have to get pictures of our Vibes parked next to each other representing GenVibe . I'm not going to worry about cleaning the outside of mine since the weather is going to be crappy on Saturday. I will at least clean the interior though since the floor mats are really gross.I hope the weather isn't too bad so everyone shows on Saturday.

Just got my GENVIBE.COM decals last week and finally cleaned up the Vibe for installation. I'm only putting the one on the back glass for now. That looks real sharp there and gets high visibility. Thanks for the thoughts & ideas

I haven't figured out how to attach mutiple pics AAND/OR how to have them viewable (like what you guys did) without clicking a link! Every forum seems to be different. The "file attachment" below only lets you attach one file and it does it as a link. I need to educate myself on this stuff. Anyways here's the other pic

Did you go with the silver as well?To post a picture in the thread simply use the [ img ] [ /img ] tags (without the spaces obviously).
