Thought I would have to change the front pads @ 91K....

Post by cptnsolo77 »

I rotated my tires this weekend & checked the front brakes. Im amazed at how much pad is left. On my 2001 Civic I would have changed the pads at least once. Im not complaining though!!! Aside from changing the starter & fan blower relay, I have had no major issues. Great car!As a sidenote, while I had the wheels off I painted the the rusted areas on the steelies with black engine paint I had leftover. Looks much better now.

This seems to be the norm with the Vibe. I changed my original pads at 81K and they looked brand new. I only changed them because I was having bad squeaking and I couldn't get rid of it.

Thats why the pads last so long. I just swapped mine this summer at 70,000 had some meat on them but one was cracked.
