I don't have my manual with me (I will check it when I get home) but I do think the P0171 is a MAF.

yeah its like a lean code, usually related to the MAF. I would get maf cleaner and clean the maf. I think theres a how to on here. and see what happens. Specially if you have a 03 and have never cleaned it, I bet its dirty as all get out.

I just checked my repair manual and the P0171 is a lean code on bank 1. Clean the MAF and hopefully it will go away.

so far, so good. did it today. electric plug was a little difficult to disconectt so when i got it apart i gave it a spray also. thanks to genvibe forum and all you guys. you,ll save me alot of $$ and fewer headaches.
