My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

Looks wise, my initial thought was a bloated Miata. Never liked the Miata's and this one doesn't grab me either.

An Edsel?!? Don't see that. Alfa compared to the Edsel is like a tiny pearl next to a giant booger.I have a Pininfarina design myself, a bit more vintage:
