I checked the fuse for the headligt under the hood and one relay, both seemed fine...I'm goin check the rest of the fuse under the hood and dash tonight when I get home from work. Was wondering if there's a main relay or fuse and where its located.

My daughter's boyfriend jump started her 2006 Matrix with similar results, although it no longer started. I found the 100 Amp alternator fuse blown, as well as several fuses under the dash were blown.Changed the fuses, all was well except for the melted battery terminal. BF swears up and down he didn't reverse polarity. To get to the big fuse, you'll need to pry the housing off the main electrical panel under the hood. The fuse terminals are bolted into the main power buss. The fuse itself is only about $3 at your auto parts place.Good luck!

It does seem like it could be that 100A fuse, that's what it was for the guy in http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=31390the 100A fuse is bolted into the underhood fuse block, and in such a way that you have to move the fuse block around to get to it. johnsoax had to replace his 100A fuse, he posted some info about it in http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=16307
