Need ideas for stock speaker replacement

Hello, I have an 04 vibe with the base cd player, to my knowledge I have six speakers (2 in front door, 2 tweeters in the top of the door, 2 speakers in the rear) my car has the moon roof but no sub. So as I understand it, my car has no amplifier, Id like to keep my factory radio.My rear speaker sound very faint, I dont know if thats is by design or if they are possible blown. Id like recommendations on both front and rear door speakers (I think I can replace the 5 1/4s in the rear with 6 1/2's). I dont ever intend to buy a sub or amp, just looking for an overall good sound. I appreciate your expertise.Thanks,Steven

How much are you willing to spend?Go to Crutchfeild & see what speakers are in your price range then take it from there.Polks DB series are a great buy. Havent read anything negative about them.You should have a factory amp.Moon and tunes is six speakers, amp under the passenger seat w/ sunroof. I have the same setup on my 03. In 05 they added a factory sub. I beleive the factory amp is 200W peak.Hope that helps...I dont plan to buy & sub either. Im just looking for a good upgrade. I Cant listen to loud music without my ears ringing anyway LOL.Also try doing a search in the audio forum & see what other members are using.Have fun!

i would go with polk or mb quart both sound amazing, i u had some money to spend then i would either go with jl audio or focal.best of luck
