Vibe/Matrix Antenna (I saw, and HAD to post this.)

Post by 06pvibe »

I'm amazed that anyone would produce this let alone buy it.I saw this on eBay and thought it so silly (not humor as such) I had to post it.Quote, originally posted by eBayseller »ANTENNA pontiac VIBE CAR 2009 2008 2007 2006 2005 2004Description / Notes: "Replacement Antenna -- UNIVERSAL IMITATIONANTENNA , BLACK -- 1-section mast; 470 mm extension; Stick-on; A high quality universal imitation antenna; May require modification or other adjustment to your vehicle upon installation; Covered by a 1-year unlimited mileage warranty."Type : Universal product, 1-section mast, 470 mm extension, Stick-on Condition : New Brand New in the Box - Fit and Quality Guaranteed! Are they kidding?

I've been looking for a universal IMITATION antenna for a long time! How have I not seen this before? I wanted to put 4 or 5 of these on my car. Maybe I'll even mount them on the doors...

I didn't highlight it, but another one of my favorite disclaimers is: "May require modification or other adjustment to your vehicle upon installation"Like where would you stick this thing that "might require modifications," right?

LOL, like those imitation cell phone antennas of the late 80's/early 90's!

Maybe I have a weird sense of humor but when I look at the antenna coming of the top of my vibe, it reminds me of the old bumper cars that that the sparking electric connector at the top of a mast. I kind of feel like I'm tooling around town in a way cool bumper car.

I LOVED the bumper cars and used to stay on them as long as they would let me.If you got a crank (cranky person) running the ride, you'd have to get off and get back in line every time, but sometimes not.
