FWD to AWD?

Ok some of you may think im crazy but would it be possible to switch a FWD to an AWD? I asked alot of people but no one really has an answer. Thought id turn here for it. Best place for vibe help i know

it's possible but you would need a lot to accomplish it. You would need the entire drive line from the engine back. So you would need the trans, transfer case, the entire rear end of the car, suspention, axle, exhaust, you would need to punch out the 2wd bolt for the rear stut top hat because the awd have three bolts mounted to the top hats.

Yes it is possible, but unless you have lots of $ to spend it wouldn't happen. It would probably be cheaper to put your Vibe back to stock and sell it, then buy an AWD and mod it.

I think it would be cheaper for you to just give me your S/C, I'll install it in my AWD and you can live vicariously thru me. I would be willing to give you daily updates on how it's working out for me...

Stamping of the floor pan from the FWD to the AWD is totally different.
