Calipers maintenance

Yesterday, I received a letter from my dealer.It sez to take an appointement because it is time for calipers maintenance.My Vibe has less then 6000 Miles (10 000 km).Is this a recall on the caliper or is it only a way to pull out some money from my pocket???

maybe they wanna paint them for you since they get that ugly green tarnish color! yeah right, i could only wish

They sent this broadcast letter to all their clients. When I called, the service guy asked me how many miles I have on my car and he told me to not take a appointement for this. It should be inspected only at 12 000 miles, not 6 000.Big B.S.
