cant seem to get the right PCV Valve

Post by burrpenick »

got the old one out OK and bought two and neither one wants to screw in. I see where there were two diferent threads so I was being very cautous. How can I get the right one for my BASE 2003 VIBE? NAPA only listed ONE, but AutoZone did show two. THe threads LOOKED pretty close, but I was not going to FORCE IT. HELP>>>>>>penick 'at' nettally.com

Though a bit more than a parts store the dealer should be able to supply the correct valve. If you are restricted to access to a dealer-such as a rural area-then there are some Toyota & GM dealers on the web whom you could contact and have part mailed. Use search engine(Google etc.) and those first listed are usually popular. As to the correct size I too had an issue for I bought one a year earlier than actual attempted use,but the dealer honored the part exchange as I had the packaging. Use the millimeter increments on a ruler to size across the threads(outer thread edge to edge.) Good Luck
