How do i install a new shift interlock cable in a '05 automatic?

My old one has failed me and now my key wont come out of my ignition.Sorry if I'm posting this question in the wrong section, i think I'm in the right place but am new here.Any help would be great, not looking forward to paying 200+ for dealership to do it.

welcome to genvibehaven't heard of anyone having to replace one of those before, so you are first. Here's is a procedure from an 03 matrix manual, I'd expect it to apply to that part of an 05 vibe
