i have noticed that when i drive my vibe, i smile....since its summer, i drive my pimpmobile (84 buick riviera) back and forth to work about 4-5 days a week and park the vibe....while the riv is heavy, floaty and torquey, the vibe just flings around....i thought i would get tired of it, but i'm not and i have fun going thru corners and darting around in parking lots and traffic...even for it being a awd, when you can get the revs up at 3500rpm and play with it in the up ranges its very spunky...and it loves to cruise at 70+mph, man, if i dont get a ticket this summer in that thing i'll be lucky...i like my riv, i my vibe!

I've gone a year without getting a speeding ticket (since the one on the GM proving grounds doesn't count on my DL, but only at work) but with the Vibe GT, I know I'm in for some trouble some time soon. People always say I should just slow down and not worry about cops, but they haven't don't know how much fun Lift can be. Radar Detector has saved me a few times already. It's the back roads that kill me.

yes they are... I was thinking about getting one of those phantom III's that scrambles police radar. They are LEGAL in all the states I'll be driving in within the near future anyhow. They actually work pretty well, I was reading a few articles about them on some technology websites

i wouldnt, your just asking for trouble. cops do know when you have one.even if it may be legal, there are still pleanty of ways to get you for a speeding ticket other than by radar.

The phantom IIIs are fake. I've read reports that they are just empty boxes with LED lights in them. It's a whole scam by "Rocky Mountain Radar"... They have this "guarantee" that they'll pay your ticket if you get one for 10 or 15mph over the speed limit. What they bank on is that only 1/3 of the people that qualify for the only 10-15mph over will ever send in their tickets for refunds... Therefore, they sell them for $250-$300, and say only 1/3 of the 40% of people get tickets for $100...that's 13.333%. So...since there's barely any manufacturing cost (it's literally a box with supply running the LEDs/etc), they are making beaucoup cash scamming everyone.Go for a Bel 985, Escort Passport 8500, or a V1...
