My Nokia E63 has been acting up lately and I'm planning on getting a new phone. I want to try the HTC phones. I am looking to buy the HTC T3333 Touch2 right now. Anyone here used this one? Or any HTC smartphones before? Here's the phone I want right now http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_touch2-2924.phpWhat do you guys think of this phone?
A good friend of mine just got that phone and dislikes it. He was dead set on getting an iPhone but his company required him to get the Windows Mobile. I'm guessing if the HTC was running Android he'd like it more. I have the iPhone and love the phone, and have decent service, though it drops calls every now and again.
I had the HTC Diamond which I loved but did not like the Windows 6.1 Mobile O/S on it. Touch Flo 3D was great, solid build quality and if you google "XDA forums" you find an amazing community of hackers for HTC phones.I too have an iPhone and love it. Might not be the most powerful smartphone on the market but Apple hit a homerun with the UI (user interface)

My organization uses a combination of Blackberry, Windows Mobile and now Android devices. Every one of the Windows Mobile devices is an HTC. They run the gamut as far as models. They have all been very reliable devices as far as the phone itself. I could say many things about Windows Mobile and not one of them would be good, but the phones themselves are very solid. And hey, Google picked HTC to build the Nexus 1. If you're going to go up against the iPhone, you better have your ducks in a row.
I didn't want an iphone because almost everybody I know has one lol I don't use the phone for work or anything just check email and facebook and check traffic so this might be an ok phone for me. I'm not very picky about the o/s it's more of getting use to it for me. I just like how this HTC phone looks. I like the iphone too but don't want to spend the extra $50'ish per month for data/text. Regular data package would be good enough for me.
What about the Google Nexus 1. Its a little pricey but the fact that you can buy 1 and then decide who you want to have as your carrier really makes this a game changer.
wait for the HTC Hero, touch screen with the android platform.it will kill the iphone (am an AT&T dealer and local wireless CDMA dealer). trust me on this one.
